If a black cat crosses your path, it’s said to be a symbol of bad luck and misfortune, an omen of death. OH MY! Anyone who has had their own black cat or helped rescue a black cat knows this might be the furthest thing from the truth. We actually think black cats might be some of the luckiest of all, so let’s end that stereotype!

10. They remind us it’s ok to be sporting a little salt and pepper in the hair, no matter how old. This little guy was rescued by Reborn Animal Rescue while living under a porch with his mom and siblings.
11. They remind us to keep going, even when life seems just impossible. This little guy was stuck in a soccer net and was rescued by Neshama Animal Rescue. His front leg had to be amputated, but it’s not slowing him down!
