Has your animal shelter been feeling the impacts of COVID-19? If you answered yes, then read on. We have some good news to share!

Hill’s Pet Nutrition announced that in partnership with The Association for Animal Welfare Advancement they will provide $400,000 in grants to animal shelters impacted by COVID-19.

In a press release by Hill’s Pet Nutrition, they explained, “The pandemic has reduced funds available to animal shelters, especially smaller organizations.” It is understood that many of your fundraising efforts are dependant on interactions with people and that people have become more mindful of their resources. By providing these funds, Hill’s Nutrition hopes to ease the burden of these consequences caused by the pandemic.

They will be providing financial assistance to shelters to support the following key areas:

  • Adoption programs
  • Foster programs
  • Veterinary care for in-shelter and foster pets
  • Operational expenses
  • Community support

Grants will range in amounts from $2,500 to $15,000. Applications for the grants will be accepted until June 2, 2020 and will be paid out in full by August 31, 2020. To apply click here.

Good luck from the Pawlytics team!
